Another example is Luke 10 vs. Matthew chapter 11.  In Luke 10, Jesus is talking to 72 people and says that their names are written in heaven - which doesn't make much sense.  Until you look in Matthew which says he is talking to the 12 disciples, not 72.  Jesus is talking about the zodiac of the 12 disciples.  And seventy-two is a call-out to the number of people that conspired and killed Osiris.
