Some interesting things about these numbers. The first thing that popped out to me was the number 111. Then you have a few multiples of that with 333, 555, and 999. What is special about 3, 5 and 9? The 359th day in the year is Christmas. And 359 is the 72nd prime number in the series of prime numbers.
This is the numeric position in the alphabet reduced (adding double digits together). For example, M is the 13th letter. 1 + 3 = 4. The phrase "Merry Christmas" reduces to a sum of 72.
This seems like some odd coincidences.
There also seems to be something special about 73 and 37. They are the only two numbers with the same digits (forwards and backwards).
